How important really are clothes we wear?
Posted On 2008-07-30 , 8:30 AM
Is there a cause/effect in how we are treated by the world? Does it make a difference in getting someone to help you in a Department store, or being seated at a good table in a restaurant? Can’t people look through all the superficial and see the real us?
Fortunately, we have some scientific evidence to support what you wear your clothing does make a difference in how you influence the world around you. Maybe we didn’t want to believe (but suspected) the real reason that guy down the hall who always dressed great, but didn’t know poop is now a vice president!
When your credibility is crucial, in situations such as job interviews, sales presentations and first dates (or even second and third dates) it is important to made a "good" first impression

To look your best wear clothing colors that will complement your skin.
Wearing the wrong colors will make your skin appear sallow and lines and wrinkles will be more evident.

Clothing Designers.

Jean designers continue to carry tapered leg pant styles for women.
A Plus Size figure, or any figure for that matter, is not complimented by the ice cream cone shape of a tapered leg pant.
Go for streamline pants shape that is a straight leg from your hip down to the floor. This goes for womens jeans too.
If your hips or butt happens to be a problem area for you, try finding a plus size jean that flares out at the bottom to balance the volume of the hip.
A straighter or slightly flared leg pant will elongate your legs making them look longer than they really are.
Add a pointed-toe high heeled shoe for even more long legged illusion.
